Hey: let's read another book together?
We're kicking off another epistolary book-via-newsletter!
Hello, Editor Matt here!
It’s been a long time since you heard from me. A quick station identification: This newsletter is Dracula Daily, which sends out the entire book Dracula in bite-sized pieces.
This list has been quiet for a while because Dracula Season doesn’t start until May. But I’m interrupting here to let you know some quick news about a new thing to read.
(In the meantime, sit tight for Dracula. If you’re getting this newsletter, then you’re already signed up for Dracula Daily, and you’ll start getting the story in your email in May)
The quick news
We’re kicking off a new newsletter - another underrated and overlooked book, delivered in ‘real time’ to your inbox. It’s called The Honeywood File, and the newsletter is Honeywood Daily. You can sign up for it here.
The short version is: here’s another great book, told through letters and telegrams, that we can read together like Dracula. It’s got much shorter sections, and it’s spread out over a longer time period. The book is about people trying to design and build a house - an architect, his client, and the people they work with along the way. I think it’s very, very funny. Honeywood is one of my favorite books I’ve discovered over the last few years.
Here’s my pitch on why you’ll love it.
We’ll start on April 1st (no fooling!) - so sign up if you want to read along. More details over at Honeywood.
Thanks
That’s it. If you’re just here for Dracula, then sit tight - our story begins in May!
