Hello! Matt here. A quick reminder: you’re getting this email because you signed up for Dracula Daily, the email newsletter that sends you the full text of Dracula in real time. If that doesn’t sound familiar, you can unsubscribe at the link at the bottom of this email.
Two Week Countdown!
The story of Dracula starts on May 3, which means we’re just two weeks away. Dracula is fun to read along with people, so if there’s anybody in your life you’d like to join this book club with, get ‘em on board now! :)
On May 3 you’ll get the first section of the book, as we meet Jonathan Harker. After that, you’ll only get emails on days when there’s action in the book.
Confused about how this works? I cover some common questions here. https://draculadaily.substack.com/about
Can’t wait?
You can just nervously drum your fingers for the next two weeks - or check out some other ideas to fill the void:
Dracula’s Guest is a short story Bram Stoker wrote originally as the first chapter of Dracula. It was cut for publication but serves as a kind of prologue.
We’re getting ready to launch a fun new little thing over at Studio Kirkland, our family brand of silly side projects. Get on that email list if you want to be notified about that. We only email a few time per year ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Dracula Daily is also a physical book, where we’ve rearranged Dracula in a strictly chronological order, and added some jokes from the internet. So if you’d rather experience this on paper, you’ve got that option. But the emails are pretty fun!
That’s it
The next email you get will be the start of Dracula.
Until then,
Matt
